Winopoly version 5 (Monopoly™ Here & Now: The World Edition)
5 (8.19.2009) Fixed the new This is the last turn! Okay button stall in today's game site update... if your screen name is unusually long. Sorry to bother you, otherwise.
Passing GO maximized:  As desribed below in version 2's write-up, here are the proper instructions for having your game piece fly quickly around the board at maximum speed. This requires two accounts playing a 2-player game at the same table. This could be one of your friends helping you by joining your table from their house, or you could use 2 different computers at your house. Another option is just to use my infamous Doubly feature and play both accounts on the same machine with Internet Explorer and Firefox. Regardless of which you choose, both accounts should pass GO every 60 seconds (at 100 game speed) if you follow these simple custom rules when creating your table. The two most important things are to uncheck Allow computer players to fill empty seats and Auction unwanted properties. These both need turned off so you can play just a 2-player game and ignore property completely. In doing so, you are not allowing any computer bots to join you... which creates a 2-player game for just you and your other account. And since neither player is buying any property, the animations are removed and each player finishes their turn very quickly. Simply navigate both accounts to each browser's Custom tab and choose the same room and private table. Here's a picture to help you customize your table's options!
4 (12.4.2008) Fixed non-club Blocked rooms, a "you landed on Go" Okay button that was reported (thanks, John), and the new popup window stalls (StartGame, PlayAgain, YesNo) recently spawned in Sun's latest java update.
3 (9.9.2008) Okay, my web site is solely focused on winning badges. So let's talk about the Getting Crowded Here special badge. I have included a Stand up option that allows you to start new games repeatedly, standing up when your second turn arrives. This continuously keeps all four of you at GO on purpose, hoping that everyone's first roll lands on the same space... since a total of six, seven or eight is extremely common. Or maybe the first roller luckily scoops up a Chance or Community Chest card that advances them back to GO, and that also does the trick. Instructions: Start a private 4-player game against three computer bots, and make sure you check Allow players to watch game so you are not removed from the table every time you "stand up". You should have your badge within a half hour, on average. Most have collected in 10 minutes or less. And Doubly works great, too! Other than that, the only thing I included was a couple buttons that I had missed in version 2. Plus, I hope I have nailed all possible popups, just in case any of you were having button stalls (StartGame, PlayAgain2, PlayAgain3, YesNo) for all the various systems (XP-Vista, regular-classic, Sun-vm java).
2 (8.27.2008) If you are incapable of using Doubly, the only thing you need to know about this update is that I included some more buttons to keep things fast. That's about it. But if you have two accounts and two different browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox), here are the instructions for super-fast rank advancement. Navigate both accounts to each browser's Custom tab and choose the same room and private table. Uncheck Auction unwanted properties and Allow computer players to fill empty seats. These both need turned off so you can play just a 2-player game and ignore property completely. Choose your game's time/turn limit (a 25 turn limit game can cycle as quickly as every 6 minutes). Make the table private with a password. Yes, you could also jack your Free Parking bonus and double cash for landing on GO if you want, etc. Once you have both browser games started, Winopoly will Doubly flip your windows and play both accounts for you. The best part is that it will now click Don't Buy and skip the purchase of any property. This avoids extra animation delays (stamping your game piece on the property, cash fluttering when paying rent to each other). Both accounts will just keep flying around the board at top speed. I set my auto's game speed to 100 and Doubly's speed to 95. The more GO's you pass, the faster you climb rank. Don't forget that you have control over how long each game lasts there at the table's options. If you need any more Doubly information, you can find it in my FAQ. I am still working on this auto, so I'd rather keep going than stop to answer any related emails... as there are still some things I would like to add and tweak.
1 (8.26.2008) This is an initial release and will be followed with a version 2 update tomorrow at some point. Please do not email me about anything pertaining to this auto until after version 2 is released. If you are happy with the auto thus far and wish to purchase, please feel free. However, if you are not satisfied, please just be patient until the next version comes out and check back here within 12 hours or so. Yes, there are a few straggler Okay buttons that need picked off. And yes, your intelligence may surpass this quick version's. Please hold. By the way, I hear that using Doubly in 1-on-1 rooms really does some rank damage. Be sure to use Doubly if possible (two accounts at the same time in two different browsers), as my autos can handle such a treat.
