Picky
version 8 (52 Card Pickup) |

No Firefox: I can't express enough for everyone to use Google Chrome for this particular flash
game and auto. Some of you have been complaining that your flash can't hang and you are indeed correct! Firefox just doesn't like all
of that crazy clicking to its flash and the outcome is horrible. I highly recommend using Chrome only and you'll be shocked at the
difference. Internet Explorer can do the job too, but I can see a definite lag when compared to Chrome. |

| 8 (11.5.2011) The You achieved rank Close button was moved south. Thanks for letting me know, Carol. |
| 7 (10.25.2011) Again, this morning's maintenance brought some extra curls and swirls in the blue background behind
all of the flash-embedded games, so the auto was having a hard time finding the game. If they keep changing it, I may have to resort to another approach.
You might need to clear your Chrome's cache (click the upper-right wrench Tools button, then Tools, Clear browsing data, checkmark the top 4 boxes only,
make sure the top pulldown reads “the beginning of time”, then click the “Clear browsing data” button at the bottom) and your Flash cache (click
here, then the “Delete all
sites” button, Confirm) to force the new blue background to arrive. |
| 6 (10.11.2011) This morning's extended maintenance brought a different blue background behind the game, so the
auto couldn't see it. While I was in there, I coded all of these flash-embedded games to simply Put your mouse anywhere on game! to get started. |
| 5 (6.28.2011) They appear to have moved the You achieved rank Continue button as well.
Thanks for letting me know, Robyn. |
| 4 (6.28.2011) Whoops, didn't know there were two different styles of that new Facebook crap
down there. Should be good to go now... |
| 3 (6.28.2011) This morning's maintenance brought trouble for those that linked their accounts
to the Facebook leaderboard (new, down at the bottom of the game). Easy fix. Thanks, Faith. |
| 2 (6.25.2011) I dimensioned the Seconds option variable incorrectly and it caused an overflow
error if you cranked it past 32 or so. Not sure why anyone would really want to wait more than 5 seconds, as it's really slowing down
your rank progress to just sit there that long every game. Also made Picky click away that Help popup and unchecked Show this at game start so it's
gone forever. It was just slowing you down. Further, I attempted some kind of refresh to your browser if your game timed out, never reloaded
properly and you were looking at a cactus. Not sure if it works yet, cuz it hasn't happened to me yet. |
| 1 (6.24.2011) Okay, this one's a random clicker and supposed to be that way. Ranking up
is correct cards clicked, so I decided on this avenue. Choose the number of clicks you would like the auto to attempt on each
pass using the Clicks option. I would keep it very low until you figure out how to manipulate the auto properly. Most flash won't be
able to hang at over 10 clicks, so be careful. Remember that the Control key on your keyboard should pause the auto at any time. The
Seconds option tells Picky when to Take Score and stop the crazy random clicking. Just play with the options and find what's
best for you, your machine and browser choice. I recommend Google Chrome on this one, as it seems IE and FF are a little on the weak side
and can't seem to handle such severe mouse action. It's possible you may be booted out of the game for absolutely no reason because the
game site thinks you were idle and forces Picky to click a Refresh button. Unfortunately, once in a while (after the refresh), the game
never finishes loading and you might experience a stall there while looking at a cactus. I am working on it for the next version. If you have any issues,
try switching browsers, try lowering the auto's Speed option, play with the other two options. Worst case, take a snapshot with the auto
and attach it to an email for me. Describe exactly what problems you are seeing, what the auto is doing or not doing and what Picky is
saying in its window. This is still a work in progress and I wanted to get most of you guys cruising and enjoying those 50 ranks. Oh,
and did I forget to mention that you can run your same account on multiple machines at the same time and really speed your rank progress? |
