Dazey
version 6 (Flower Daze) |
| 6 (11.16.2011) As I was testing today's Convert 3000 Pink color flowers this week challenge, I felt sorry
for y'all as I watched (in horror) game after game go by with no Pink available. Slide my new "Force color" option to Pink and I'll
keep hitting New Game until some Pink arrives! This stuff right here is what makes my autos the absolute finest in the world... eh? |
| 5 (5.22.2011) Inner children windows were resized and shuffled around, causing Blocked in Internet Explorer
only. Easy fix. Thanks for making me aware of it, Brenda. |
| 4 (4.20.2010) They changed the rank button when you unlock mini-items. Thanks for letting me know, AintEZ. |
| 3 (3.9.2010) Couple changed buttons are fixed. Be sure to keep your mouse somewhere on the game (out of the way), like
over the groovy guitar guy. |
| 2 (2.23.2010) Weird Unknown 52? stall happened after a couple of hours. I had put that check system inside to
make sure all flowers were being read properly and to avoid related issues. So I just took out the check, and all is well again. Nothing major... it should still
read the flower colors correctly. |

Fast rank and "Power to the Flower"? Easy gives one rank point per win, Medium gives two and Hard wins are worth
three rank points. Therefore, I recommend only playing on Hard difficulty for fastest rank progress. But you can kill two birds with one stone
here. There is a very tedious "Power to the Flower" in-game badge that requires 5,000 wins using a power-up 50% of the time. So for now, I highly recommend
that you checkmark only the Color Up power-up option inside Dazey and leave the other power-ups unchecked. On Hard difficulty, a Color Up will appear
50% of the time and the auto should spend it. In doing so, you will be ranking very quickly and also chopping away at that 5-day badge at the same time! Think
about it. |

Need some losses for your stats? If you are looking for some losses, play on Hard difficulty, put your Think Time on 1
second, checkmark the Change It Up power-up only... and crank the Quit After option all the way to 100. This will make sure your game plays all the way
to the end and never hits New Game. It ensures that each finished loss will actually be logged and appear in your stats. |
| 1 (2.23.2010) This very intelligent creation can handle any difficulty you wish to play. If you system and browser can hang,
feel free to crank the game Speed option to 100 and enjoy the quick and quality auto we now know as my Dazey. Otherwise, just keep lowering your Speed by 5 until
your computer is comfortably maximized. Here's a run-down of the current options installed inside for your convenience and better future. |
- Think Time. Dazey needs some time (but not much) to think internally and pop your puzzle down in its head. The default is 2 seconds per move, which should
be plenty. On some of the harder puzzles, it may take a few moves before it finds a solution. If that's the case, you can see the auto window reporting "Yellow?
73". This means Yellow is probably the best move it has found so far and thus will choose Yellow as its "guess" after your Think Time has expired. For the most
part, sliding this option to the minimum "1" second is just fine and will make the fastest games. But once the auto has found your puzzle's solution, you will see
the auto flicker a bold "LightGreen +28" and the winning moves will be remembered and clicked very quickly. At that point, no more Think Time is required
since it has already found a solution.
- Quit After. You have the power to hit New Game if your puzzle is failing the auto. Once in a while, especially on Hard difficulty and a low Think Time
setting, Dazey might initiate the wrong couple of opening moves when it's guessing. These harder puzzles could lead the auto into a dead end and a loss. So use this option
to tell Dazey when your games are futile and you wish to quit instead. Quit After is a percentage of currently opened flowers. Example: if your board has one-fourth of
its flowers opened and you think Dazey's intel is probably not gonna be able to beat it at that point, enter 25% in this option and the auto will hit New Game for a
fresh puzzle. No reason to keep trying, just get a new board... and it's not even counted as a loss in the stats. I keep my Quit After on 20% to give the auto a
decent chance to beat any puzzle, and it maintains an almost 100% winning percentage on any difficulty.
- Power-ups. I decided to make each power-up available individually... to cover each of our current needs. Want super-fast games? Turn them all off
and avoid those extra 10-second delays during power-up animations. Have a challenge needing to fill 150 void spaces (peace symbols)? Turn all power-ups off
except for the "Flower Up" surfboard and Dazey will only use what's required, ignoring the rest for extra speed. Need a few losses here and there?
Checkmark the "Change It Up" power-up as described in the light bulb tip above. These separate checkmark options give us more flexibility in the future, as you
can mix and match whatever suits you best!
