Cirquey version 5
(Cirque du Flea)

 Cirquey stars chart

5 (10.27.2011) Less than 24 hours following the release of Act 5, Cirquey is at its best with 49 stars. After level 4's opening two shots, you need to wait a good 2-3 minutes to let the copper nut bounce away that upper pencil, pop the beaker's cork and eventually all the fleas will make their way out for a perfect 5-star score. Level 6 and 9 might struggle a bit, so feel free to use that Try Again checkmark option inside the auto and come back in a few minutes. As stated before, this game gets sluggish. So every 5-10 attempts, close your Chrome browser and reopen a new one to refresh your Flash. And as promised, Act 5 is free for you registered fleas of mine.
4 (10.25.2011) This morning's maintenance brought some extra curls and swirls in the blue background behind all of the flash-embedded games, so the auto was having a hard time finding the game. If they keep changing it, I may have to resort to another approach. You might need to clear your Chrome's cache (click the upper-right wrench Tools button, then Tools, Clear browsing data, checkmark the top 4 boxes only, make sure the top pulldown reads “the beginning of time”, then click the “Clear browsing data” button at the bottom) and your Flash cache (click here, then the “Delete all sites” button, Confirm) to force the new blue background to arrive.
3 (10.11.2011) This morning's extended maintenance brought a different blue background behind the game, so the auto couldn't see it. While I was in there, I coded all of these flash-embedded games to simply Put your mouse anywhere on game! to get started.
2 (10.1.2011) Again, be sure to read both version 1 and 2's writeups before using this auto so you know how to use it properly. This update includes Act 4 (45-47 stars) and a new Try Again checkmark option. Some of this new Act's levels (4, 6, 8) are really tough and require a bit more luck than the rest. All you have to do... is enable the Try Again option, select your level and let it run for a little while. Cirquey will keep trying to get that level's maximum stars over and over while you are gone. Don't forget to close your browser and open a fresh one every 5-15 minutes, depending on your flash lag. It really makes a difference and keeps things running a lot more smooth in the game. And yes, Act 4 is 100% free for registered users!

1 (9.14.2011) This cheat is completely unlike the others. It is not a fully-automatic kinda thing whatsoever, but more of a "help you achieve more stars than you already have" kinda thing instead. The chart above shows the number of stars for each level that Cirquey can currently achieve. But just like a human playing manually, sometimes you may need to run each level a few times until you have reached its maximum potential. The fleas pop out of that cork in just about every possible angle, bouncing off each other and rolling down ramps at various speeds. This can cause major issues, especially on the levels that need timing. When this happens, simply start the level over until the auto accomplishes the number of stars shown in the chart. At the time of this writing (and as you can see in the chart), this opening release should achieve 46 stars in the first Act, 44+ stars in the second Act and 42+ in the third. That being said, here's a whole bunch of rules and hints to help get you started.

  • Manual level selection: Using Google Chrome only, choose which Act you need help with and navigate to its level selection screen. Let the auto know where your game resides by hovering your mouse on those upper-right sound buttons. You will hear a beep and your mouse will snap to the dead center of your game. You will only need to do this once, as Cirquey is now ready for you to choose a level. Manually, click one of the ten levels that need some work and leave the mouse alone. The auto will take over and attempt to win the amount of stars from my chart. You can pause Cirquey at any time by pressing the Control key on your keyboard.
  • Try Again: Let's say you were trying to achieve the supposed four stars from Act 1 - Level 10 and one of the fleas accidentally snuck past your cannon-blasting save shots and died down that left ramp. You were only given two stars, not the four stars from the chart. No problem, it happens sometimes. And it will happen more often in the harder levels. Just click the Try Again button and let the auto have another go at it. Those four stars are coming or I wouldn't have written four in that chart up there. Imagine a human playing this game manually (that Try Again button is clicked dozens and dozens of times)! Not every level is 100% perfect, and this auto will never be either.
  • Automatic replay: Once in a while, you will see Cirquey click that little Replay button at the top right of your game. It's doing this on purpose, as it knows something didn't quite land correctly or something is off kilter and you won't be getting the maximum stars for that level. For example, Act 1 - Level 7 requires a gold and blue spool to land perfectly in some potholes. If they don't make it, you certainly aren't getting the maximum stars from my chart because the fleas will be blocked. Therefore, the auto will click the replay button and try that level again. If you see this happening, don't touch anything. Just let the auto ride it out until the job is complete. These other levels that have this "smart" feature: Act 2 - Level 3, Act 3 - Level 4 and 6.
  • Flash lag: Once again, this is another embedded Flash game with a huge hole inside, slowly leaking your precious memory resources. Eventually, your browser will become very sluggish and those fleas will start rolling and bouncing slower than they were before. Obviously, that's a problem when you are trying to time some of the cannon shots. The fleas, a pencil, the pinwheel... they just never made it to their destination on time because everything's so slow now. I recommend that you completely close your Google browser and open a fresh game every 10 minutes or so to keep yourself fresh.
  • Shareware time: Similar to my Cluey auto playing the city of Paris only, Act 1's ten levels are completely free. I did this on purpose so you have an opportunity to see how to use the auto, what it can achieve and what you can expect in future updates. So feel free to play Act 1 as many times as you wish. Registration of this auto will unlock all of the other Acts, as well as any future ones.
  • Future acts and intel: As time permits, I will definitely make some attempts to improve that chart up there. For now, this is what I have to assist in your quest for the badges. I am always trying to make my autos better, so please let me know if you have personally found some magical (consistent) shots that surpass mine. You could use Cirquey's built-in Picture option to take a snapshot of your cannon blasts and email them to me. I can't promise anything, but I will certainly be happy to take a look! As for future Acts that are on the way, I will definitely be giving them my best effort as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, I can't promise a minimum of 40 stars for their badges because I don't know how difficult they will be until they arrive.
