Addicty version 17
(Pogo™ Addiction Solitaire HD)

Torch or Google Chrome only:  These newer Html5 games were specifically coded/tested with Torch and Google Chrome on multiple machines and all operating systems. I am no longer supporting any other browsers because they usually load completely different (distorted) graphics and are sluggish/worthless besides.

17 (6.4.2022) All of the games had their Continue Game intermission screen altered, which stalled the autos.
16 (2.2.2022) As of today's date, it's fixed and works for me with Google Chrome. Resizes the inner child browser to a uniform 848x600 size, so there's no need to hover the mouse anywhere. But do keep it over the upper-left coffee cup during game play.
15 (6.30.2020) Continue Game and Okay! buttons moved again.
14 (4.26.2020) Continue Game and Okay! buttons moved again.
13 (3.10.2020) The Continue Game button was moved again, which stalled the auto there after Tuesday morning's maintenance.
12 (3.4.2020) The game got its Continue Game screen adjusted, which stalled the auto there after last Tuesday morning's maintenance.
11 (9.13.2019) Two major fixes here. When changing your bobble head, the auto stalled at the Queen bonus game because it didn't know the new character's card back. And a rare (annoying) stall occurred when the far left 2's column required a choice of two empty slots, yet Addicty sometimes tried to pick a non-empty, invalid slot instead. After seeing the auto cruise for over 24 hours non-stop, I figured this update is now worthy for release.
10 (9.2.2019) Well, they removed the old java version of the game back in June. Now it's been upgraded to Html5 HD and my Addicty auto is officially updated the same. Since rank is no longer gold cards, I removed the old Gold only option. The other Reshuffle option is now Spend Coffee instead, allowing you to use your coffee points for Reshuffles. This basically guarantees a win for every game you play, if that's what you're after. Thankfully, their occasional Volcano Blast mini-game usually keeps you stocked pretty well with coffee. Addicty will only play the other two mini-games once, since luck is just too much of a dangerous factor.
9 (6.6.2013) Another stall on the game summary Play Again screen. They had moved/hidden the game side 1,000 pixels south, underneath your monitor... but now put it back. Thanks for letting me know, everyone.
8 (11.10.2012) Updated for Windows 8 compatibility.
7 (9.22.2012) Not found in Internet Explorer. Thanks for letting me know, Sandra.
6 (8.9.2012) The game is now embedded into the browser, with a new game summary Play Again button.
5 (4.16.2010) Added a new Reshuffle option for this coming Wednesday's challenge. Enable it and Addicty will spend all three Reshuffles before starting each game.
4 (10.19.2010) They changed the window size this morning. Easy fix. Thanks for letting me know, Mike.
3 (3.26.2008) Nothing major. By request, I converted the Gold only checkmark option into a slidebar (0 to 100). People were not liking their Stats showing 200 losses in a row when going for fast rank. And others were not caring for such a large winning percent when playing normally. If you want super-fast rank progress, slide to 100. If you want to clear all of the board's cards and not use the option at all, slide to 0. Or pick a percentage in the middle to keep your stats showing what you like. Important note: your Winning Percentage in your Stats should appear very close to the opposite percent you select in this option. For example, choosing a 75% fast rank percentage should yield approximately 3 losses every 4 games since the auto clicks New Game after collecting all the golds. This actually is a 25% win percent (not 75), as you are only successfully completing one of those 4 games. This is also a great way to spend those accumulated Token Gifts once in a while, appearing more human-like in your room. Thanks again, Tina.
2 (3.25.2008) Addicty now uses the Free Move powerup to swap your final gold or two when going for faster rank progress. Neat suggestion and very cool, Richard. I am sure everyone will enjoy that extra little oomph!
1 (3.25.2008) There are two different intelligence routines built inside this auto! One, playing normally, attempts to win every game by lining up all 48 cards properly. The other intel, enabling the Only gold option, doesn't care about winning whatsoever. In fact, you will never win at all. Instead, Addicty will find the quickest route to remove all of your gold cards... with a New Game click immediately following. This gives an extremely fast rank progress, since the golds produce the bobble-head buddies needed for advancement. I suggest keeping your mouse pointer above the game's cactus lamp to avoid the card ghosting effect. Also, slower is smarter (even just a few notches down can help). Addicty's game Speed option should really be kept at 90 or lower, especially for the slower machines. I am just saying that yes, 100 speed is available for the computers that can handle it, but 90 speed is almost as fast (and definitely smarter/smoother).
